Toni-Louise Carter (TLC Illustration) is a freelance illustrator based at Hazlehurst Studios in Runcorn. Her practice centres around live illustration, capturing the atmosphere of events through observational drawing, alongside creating visual work that translates information into engaging imagery.

She also develops children’s illustrations, building characters and scenes inspired by memories, storytelling, and everyday life.

Toni-Louise graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2022 with a First Class Honours degree in BA (Hons) Graphic Design & Illustration.

Alongside her freelance work, she collaborates with Hazlehurst Studios to deliver community workshops for all ages, facilitating inclusive and engaging creative sessions that encourage imagination, confidence, and self-expression.
